Best holiday recipe: Hot Spiced Wine*
A quart dry red wine (no need for fancy or expensive wine, ’cause we’re gonna spice it up)
1 cup water
One cup sugar
1 tsp whole cloves
1/2 orange, sliced
1 cinnamon stick
Bring to a boil. Simmer 15 minutes. Serve warm in a mug or sturdy wine glass.
