champion of healthy communication: meet beth wonson

As a fangirl of Beth Wonson‘s amazing program, Navigating Challenging Dialogue, I was thrilled to interview her recently for Rain Sessions! Thank you, Beth, for being a champion of healthy communication and showing us how to dissolve the drama, disagreements, old baggage and bad feelings that interfere with achieving personal and organizational goals.

Champion of Healthy Communication: Meet Beth Wonson

“I found my authentic path and returned to self after my life partner unexpectedly left. I spent 3 years getting to know myself again. I participated in hypnotherapy to recreate my life and manifest my business.

Then I bought a house, quit my job and started my business with only 3 months mortgage in the bank and one $750 contract. That was in 2010.

I would never be where I am today without that disruption.”

~Beth Wonson

Beth Wonson is the creator of Navigating Challenging Dialogue. A skills training and certification, NCD teaches emotional awareness and the soft skills of leadership to decrease drama and chaos.

After 10 years of working with teams using what she calls “static cling” leadership – a style built from whatever stuck from prior leaders – Beth realized her team was effective but too often distracted by preventable drama and stress that had notable health impacts.

But then she was recruited into an organization where they followed an entirely different approach – a strengths-based style that included a blend of research, balance, meditation and nature. It inspired a new direction in Beth’s professional life. She’s been sharing that exceptional experience and its superior results with her clients since 2011.

Beth authored two books: “Let Go of the Rock, A New Look at the Dynamics of Self Management” and “Everyday Guide to Joy and Abundance,” co-authored with her hypnotherapist, Dr. Mary Kay Stenger.

Beth lives in Sacramento Ca with her partner, Janet. She has two grown daughters and three grandsons. She loves nature, travel, engaging with horses and people. Beth works nationally with her business partner, Sasha Mobley, and the Beth Wonson and Company team.

You can find her at bethwonson.com and her podcast Dynamics of Self.
