A few of my favorite books

Favorite books

I brought a little travel library of my favorite books that I thought might interest my Glacier Quest retreat guests. I got such a kick out of seeing them dive in. One guest wanted my marked up copies and offered to buy me new ones! Maybe you’ll enjoy these resources, too.

(Recommended)
Dying to Be Me, Anita Moorjani*
The Language of Emotions: What Your Feelings are Trying to Tell You, Karla McLaren*
Expecting Adam, A True Story of Birth, Rebirth, and Everyday Magic, Martha Beck
Diana Herself: An Allegory of Awakening (The Bewilderment Chronicles, Volume I), Martha Beck***
Finding Your Way in a Wild New World, Martha Beck
Callings: Finding and Following an Authentic Life, Gregg Levoy
Deep Play, Diane Ackerman
The Book of Beasties: Your A to Z Guide to the Illuminating Wisdom of Spirit Animals, Sarah Bamford Seidelman**
*Especially helpful in finding self-acceptance and accepting emotion (rather than trying to be rid of it). I have both of these books on Audible, as well, and I love hearing their calming voices describe these life-changing experiences and concepts.
**”The Book of Beasties” is so much fun when you spot a beastie in life or on the trail, I’m not sure where it falls in order of importance. 🙂
***I led a Bewilderment Book Club on “Diana, Herself” this spring. You can purchase the digital program here.
