last 60 days

There’s a lot of talk about town on the topic of finishing strong, going for it, ending the last 60 days of the year – nay, decade! – in an all-out sprint.

Everyone seems to be saying, “Go! Go! Go!”

I’ve said it, too. I find it really seductive. And exhausting.

I want to finish on an up note, then start anew from higher ground. I’ve got big plans!

But science says only 8% of people actually achieve their goals and that a whopping 92% of people who set New Year’s resolutions fail to meet them. That doesn’t bode well for finishing strong. Or starting fresh.

Worn out by the striving, grasping, efforting energy? Please know you’re not alone. With those kinds of stats, it seems even those inspired by the sprint energy might wear down, too.

What if you do things differently this year?

Live your last 60 days of the year intentionally

It’s not about doing more.

Accomplishing big things is rarely about doing more, piling goal on top of goal, task on task.

Rather, creating change is built on clearing past patterns, creating a clear vision of where you want to go, then taking small, consistent steps toward that vision.

It’s about doing less, of closing old chapters.

“Getting to the next level always requires ending something, leaving it behind, and moving on. Without the ability to end things, people stay stuck, never becoming who they are meant to be, never accomplishing all that their talents and abilities should afford them.”
— Henry Cloud

Rather than merely surviving the holidays with a plan to turn over a new leaf later, or grasping hard to finish in a sprint, what if you lived the last 60 days of this year intentionally? Share on X

Imagine what it would be like to start the New Year – nay, decade – from a place of clarity, strength, momentum, and intention.

What if you’d cleared the old baggage from prior years and decades, so that you could truly start fresh on January 1?

What if you replaced one old habit or mindset to help you through the holidays, or, better yet, to set the foundation for a career and life you absolutely love? Share on X

That’s how I plan to use my last 60 days of the decade. Intentionally. Join me?

To help, I updated the planning tool I created last winter, just for you. Click here or on the picture below to download my FREE 2020 Planning Tool.

The biggest old habit I want to release and replace with skill? To stop feeling overwhelmed.

I’ve already implemented a few tricks that shifted everything. More on that next week…

See you there!
