Bewilderment book club

Has there ever been a more bewildering time in your lifetime? Pandemic, economic downturn, safer-at-home, uncertainty at every turn. Could bewilderment call for be-WILD-erment? Introducing the Bewilderment Book Club to find out!

I want you in my club this spring!

The Bewilderment Book Club, that is. My mentor, Martha Beck, published a heart-bursting, mind-altering, fun, profound and shockingly true-to-life fantasy fiction novel called Diana, Herself: An Allegory of Awakening.

This book knocked my socks off. Now I’m calling in all my people to join me in a sockless, fearless, inspiring, joyful book club that will guide us through the process of waking up to our true selves and the lives we are meant to be living.

Yeah—it’s that really that kind of book!

Inside this crazy-powerful 6-week book club, we’ll explore:

Week 1 -Letting your “wrong life” fall apart

Our adventure begins along with Diana’s. When our heroine’s journey devolves into disaster, the real magic begins. Without quite knowing how or why, she finds herself leaving everything familiar and moving into a world where miracles are commonplace, where her supposed flaws become her salvation, and where her story is everyone’s.

Weeks 2 through 6 -The Seven Tasks of Bewilderment

I’m not about to spoil the story, but here’s what I can tell you: While we’re reading, playing, connecting, learning, practicing, and growing, you’ll recognize all the exciting ways that our book club is a microcosm of the change we’re experiencing in the world. In all the best ways.

Whenever a few aligned people gather for a loving and joyful purpose, we set the stage for the very magic that we desire most in the world.

You’ll walk away from this book club feeling

  • That you’ve found yourself and your deeper purpose—this is what allegories are all about!
  • Awakened to your true and beautiful self. This book includes sever very special tasks, practice tools for spiritual growth.
  • Connected with love and laughter. Every person who relates to this novel enjoys the humor and kindness of its protagonists, along with their gentle and wise guidance.
  • Filled with trust in yourself and your inner wisdom to respond in the moment, so that you no longer need to keep it all together.

This book club is so much more than a fabulous excuse to get together with like-spirited readers—it’s a way to form community with people just like you who are walking your talk and embodying the open-hearted kindness, curiosity, and courageous creativity of a life lived in service to truth and compassion.

I led this book club once before and here’s what one of our club members said:

“There is so much fear in the world right now. “Diana, Herself” is really entertaining but also profound, so important for helping to get past fear and trust our bodies and inner wisdom. Jennifer does a great job helping us connect the book to our own lives, and she gives us extra guidance in applying the teachings for our own healing. As a result of the Bewilderment Book club, I experienced a profound deepening of my connection to nature and my own inner wisdom.”
